LB Agar and Agarose Plates

LB (Luria-Bertani) plates contain 1% tryptone, 0.5% yeast extract, 1.0% NaCl, and 1.5% agar unless otherwise indicated. LB medium is adjusted to a final pH of 7.0 unless otherwise indicated. All plates are tested with at least 4 different recombinant strains of E. coli to demonstrate the efficacy of the antibiotics and colorimetric indicators contained within.

Plates are shelf-life dated and guaranteed for 4 weeks from the date of shipment. All plates must be stored at 4°C and in the absence of continuous exposure to light.
