5X Supplement EZ is a sterile, 5-fold concentrate used to prepare EZ-format bacterial media. When diluted to 1X with sterile water or the corresponding base, it yields a ready-to-use medium suitable for routine cultivation and maintenance of laboratory strains of E. coli.

Prepare by mixing 1 part 5X Supplement EZ with 4 parts sterile diluent to achieve the final working strength. Combine with selective agents as required for strain maintenance, using standard laboratory concentrations. Do not autoclave after dilution. Use aseptic technique to maintain product integrity.
