YT Media is a nutrient-rich liquid ideal for propagating M13 bacteriophages and promoting the growth of bacteria, particularly E coli., in a suspended state. We offer 2x concentrations for basic microbiological research, and 4x concentrations with enhanced nutrient density to support rapid growth, making it ideal for protein expression and plasmid DNA preparation, where bacterial biomass is desired.
