Tryptic Soy Media (TSM), also called Soybean-Casein digest medium, is a general-purpose medium used to isolate and enumerate enteric bacteria in food and water samples. This medium is also used for EP and USP sterility testing, as it provides optimum growth conditions for various bacteria.
