10 mM ATP Solution, pH 7.0 is a ready-to-use adenosine triphosphate reagent prepared in aqueous buffer to provide a defined phosphate donor at neutral pH for biochemical workflows. The 10 mM concentration and physiological pH facilitate straightforward dilution into reaction mixes without additional pH adjustment.

Applications include supplying ATP for kinase assays, energizing ATP-dependent ligases and helicases, supporting motor protein studies, fueling ATPases in membrane and transport assays, and serving as substrate in luciferase-based detection systems and cell-free transcription or translation setups.

  • 10mM Adenosine-5'-Triphosphate
  • Disodium salt
  • Kinase Reactions & Phosphorylation Assays: Serves as the phosphate donor for protein kinases and nucleic acid kinases (e.g., T4 PNK) in in vitro phosphorylation studies.

  • DNA/RNA Ligation: Provides the required cofactor for T4 DNA ligase and RNA ligases in cloning, adapter ligation, and library prep workflows.

  • Luciferase-Based ATP Assays: Used as a standard/control or spike-in for bioluminescent ATP quantification and cell viability assays.

  • ATPase and Motor Protein Assays: Substrate for myosin, kinesin, helicases, and chaperones (e.g., Hsp70) to measure ATP hydrolysis and motor activity.

  • Cell-Free Expression Systems: Energy source in coupled transcription–translation reactions, including Escherichia coli-based extracts.

  • ATP-Dependent Restriction Enzymes: Supports activity of ATP-requiring endonucleases (e.g., Type I/III systems) in DNA manipulation.

  • Chromatin Remodeling Assays: Powers ATP-dependent remodeling complexes (e.g., SWI/SNF) in nucleosome sliding and accessibility studies.

  • DNA End Repair and A-tailing Workflows: Cofactor for enzymes (e.g., polynucleotide kinase, ligase) in NGS library construction and DNA repair kits.

  • Helicase Unwinding Assays: Provides the energy source for DNA/RNA helicase activity measurements in replication and repair models.

  • Metabolic and Signaling Studies: Exogenous ATP for purinergic signaling experiments and controlled metabolic supplementation in microbial or mammalian systems (e.g., Bacillus subtilis models).

  • pH: 7.00 ± 0.04
