Media and Transfection Reagent Optimization

Figure 1: Viral Producing Cell Media Test

Five different media types were tested for cell growth and AAV virus production. All media types grew exponentially, and Media type A had the best cell growth and AAV production.

Figure 2: Transfection Reagent Optimization

Seven different transfection reagents were tested in small scale (30ml) to determine which reagent produced the highest titer of AAV. Out of the seven, four where selected and scaled up (350ml) for AAV production. Reagent F had the best AAV titer across serotypes.
